From the first call to handover

Every engagement follows the same sequence. You know what happens next, what it costs, and who is doing it — before you commit to anything.

The sequence

01

First conversation

A call or a meeting, usually under an hour. You describe what is not working. We tell you honestly whether it is something we do.

02

Free review

One of the three free checks — security, compliance or finance. Ninety minutes, and a written summary you keep whether or not you hire us.

03

Written proposal

Scope, deliverables, price and timeline, itemised. If a smaller piece of work solves the problem, that is what we quote.

04

Paperwork

Contract, NDA and service level agreement, with a liability cap. A signed authorisation naming the systems, the dates, and what we may do.

05

Delivery

The people you met do the work. Agreed checkpoints, written progress notes, and no silent weeks.

06

Handover

Documentation, credentials and — where we built software — the source code. Full administrative access. You are never locked to us.

How we price

Fixed price

Work with a defined end

A penetration test, an ISO readiness programme, a website, a system migration. Agreed before we start, and it does not move unless you change the scope.

Monthly retainer

Work that repeats

IT support, a Virtual CFO, monthly reporting, ongoing compliance cycles. A set scope and a set fee, reviewed at agreed intervals.

Day rate

Work still taking shape

Advisory engagements where the scope is not yet clear. Capped at an agreed number of days so it cannot run away from you.

What we need from you

Engagements slip for the same handful of reasons. These are they.

  • A decision-makerSomeone who can approve scope and sign off deliverables
  • A point of contactOne person we can reach when something is blocking
  • Access, when it is dueSystems, records and credentials at the agreed time
  • Honest answersIncluding about what has gone wrong before
  • Time from your teamInterviews, walkthroughs and reviews take hours, not days
  • Decisions, not deferralsA stalled decision costs more than a wrong one

If we are the wrong firm for what you need, we will say so in the first conversation rather than the third invoice.

Start with a conversation

It costs nothing, it takes under an hour, and you leave with a written summary either way.
