Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect personal data — and what you can require of us under Jordan’s Personal Data Protection Law.
Last updated: 17 August 2026
1. Who we are
Rouya Tech is a company registered in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with offices in Amman.
For the purposes of Jordan’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023, we are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Questions about it go to info@rouyatech.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we collect through this website. It does not cover data we process on behalf of a client under a signed engagement — that is governed by the contract, the non-disclosure agreement and, where relevant, the data processing terms agreed with that client.
3. What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your mobile number
- The company you represent
- The service you selected
- Anything you write in the comments field
Our hosting provider also records standard technical information for every visit — IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to operate and secure the site, not to build a profile of you.
Please do not put sensitive information into the comments field. If you need to send us details of a security incident, a financial record or anything confidential, contact us first and we will arrange a secure channel.
4. Cookies, analytics and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party tracking scripts. There is nothing to opt out of, which is why you were not shown a cookie banner.
5. Why we use your data, and on what basis
- To respond to your enquiry. You gave us these details for that purpose, and we use them for that purpose.
- To carry out work you engage us for. Where an enquiry becomes an engagement, we process your details to perform the contract.
- To meet our own legal and regulatory obligations, including accounting and tax record-keeping requirements.
- To keep the site running and secure. Technical logs are kept for operational and security purposes.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal data to anyone.
6. Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our correspondence. They process data on our instructions only:
- Netlify — website hosting and form submission handling
- [Email provider] — our business email
No one else receives your data unless you ask us to share it, or unless we are required to disclose it by Jordanian law or a competent authority.
7. Where your data is stored
Our hosting and email providers operate servers outside Jordan, so data submitted through this site is transferred and stored abroad. We select providers that apply recognised technical and organisational security measures, and we transfer no more than is necessary to provide the service.
If you would rather not have your details leave Jordan, contact us by telephone instead of using the form.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become engagements — [24] months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Client records — for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for as long as Jordanian tax and accounting law requires.
- Technical logs — retained for the period set by our hosting provider.
9. How we protect it
Access to enquiry and client data is restricted to the people who need it for the work. Data is encrypted in transit, stored in access-controlled systems, and deleted on the schedule above. Every member of our team is bound by confidentiality obligations.
If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the regulator within the timeframes required by Law No. 24 of 2023.
10. Your rights
Under Jordan’s Personal Data Protection Law you may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and give you a copy
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep
- Stop or restrict a particular use of your data
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave
Write to info@rouyatech.com. We will respond within the period required by law. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the competent Jordanian data protection authority.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the page rather than made quietly.
